Library Hosts Teen Art Contest

Teens with a penchant for art have a chance to show off their work thanks to the Land O' Lakes Branch Library, 2818 Collier Parkway.
The library will hold a Teen Art Contest March 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. with submitted works being judged by local artists and library staff. Artwork is now being accepted for the show.
Works can be submitted in one of three different categories – two-dimensional, three-dimensional and anime/manga-themed. Teen artists can submit up to five pieces of their own, original artwork in any or all of the categories. A single piece can also be considered for more than one category, depending on its properties. Prizes, sponsored by the Friends of the Land O' Lakes Library, will be given out for the best prize in each category.
